About me

Hi, I'm Fernanda.
Hi, I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) and Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who specializes in supporting women/teens who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve them, as well as couples.
Many of the women I work with are navigating disordered eating, body image struggles, difficult family dynamics, or painful relationship patterns—like people-pleasing, attachment wounds, or finding themselves in toxic relationships. Some are also carrying the impacts of past trauma, including sexual trauma, and are ready to begin healing in a way that feels safe and sustainable.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I integrate methods like Parts Work (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy CBT, Psychodynamics, Polyvagal and Somatic Therapy to help you go beyond just talking about your experiences—so you can actually process them, reconnect with your body, and create meaningful change. In addition, I work with Gottman Couples Therapy, a scientifically based, structured approach that is effective in helping couples rebuild their relationships.
Above all, I aim to offer a space where you feel truly seen, supported, and never judged. Together, we’ll work toward helping you build a life that feels more aligned, fulfilling, and genuinely your own.
Outside of my work, you’ll often find me near the ocean—being in the water is one of the ways I reconnect and recharge. I’m also drawn to a reflective, grounded way of living and value meaning, connection, and inner growth in both my life and my work.
